4. Sharing Your Information With Matched Contractors

This is the core of how our service works: when you submit a request, we share your name, contact information, city, and project details with typically 2 to 4 independent roofing contractors in our network who serve your area and match your project type ("Matched Contractors"). This is how we provide the free quote-matching service.

Matched Contractors are independent businesses, not our employees, agents, or subsidiaries. Once your information is shared with a Matched Contractor, that contractor's own privacy practices govern how they handle your information. We are not responsible for the privacy or data practices of Matched Contractors.

We may also share information with service providers who help us operate our business (such as our CRM/messaging platform), who are bound by confidentiality obligations, or if required by law, court order, or government authority.

We do not sell your information to data brokers or unrelated third parties for their own advertising purposes outside of the matching process described above.

5. SMS / Text Message Communications

By checking the SMS consent checkbox on our request form, you expressly consent to receive text messages (SMS) from Oregon Roof Installers, and from the Matched Contractors we connect you with, at the mobile phone number you provided. These messages may include:

• Confirmation that we received your request
• Introductions and follow-up from Matched Contractors about your project
• Scheduling or appointment-related information

Message frequency: Varies based on your inquiry, how many contractors are matched, and project status.

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier if you are unsure about your plan.

How to opt out: Reply STOP to any message from us at any time. To stop messages from a specific Matched Contractor, reply STOP to that contractor directly or contact them individually.

6. Data Retention

We retain your contact information for as long as necessary to provide the matching service and fulfill your request, or as required by applicable law. Note that we cannot delete copies of your information already shared with and retained by Matched Contractors — you'll need to contact those contractors directly.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you provide against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
